We’re all fed up of reading about the liquidity crisis, particularly if you’re one of the jobless. You can stop reading the newspapers, but you can’t escape the fact of life that the world is in a deep recession and it’s not going away anytime soon.
However, there are always means to help yourself out of this recession. The established ways of looking for work are not so good when you have 120 other people applying for the very same job. Another alternative is to work for yourself - to be self-employed. What we’ve learnt over the last year is that big corporates can go bust very quickly. Being self-employed puts destiny in your own hands, something no staff worker of a company can ever say they have. An important point is that you pick the type of job you enjoy since you will need to be motivated.
